Oceanfront Spring Crawl
April 18, 2009
SUN, SAND, & PUBS! Our first-ever pub crawl in Virginia Beach, the Oceanfront Spring Crawl, soaked up some sun and success on Saturday, April 18th
with nearly 350 participants visiting 10 local bars and all of the $8,400 in proceeds benefitting the The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society! Over the past three years, we've found great success in Norfolk and Portsmouth and figured it was high time we brought an event to our friendly neighbors in Virginia Beach. This event journeyed to ten different establishments in the resort area of Virginia Beach with ALL proceeds going directly to charity. All of the details on what took place at this big event are available through the links in the menu above. All photos we've received to date have been posted in our online photo gallery. If you would like to share your own photos, please send them to the email address listed on our event photos page. Congratulations to all of our competition and raffle winners and thanks again to everyone that came out - we hope to see you at another event soon!

For those a bit less familiar with the Hampton Roads area of Virginia, the Virginia Beach Oceanfront is the resort area located on the Atlantic Ocean between 1st Street and 40th Street in the City of Virginia Beach. This section of the city features a beautiful cement boardwalk that runs for forty blocks along the beachfront. Long the primary tourist attraction for the local area, the Virginia Beach Oceanfront has grown by leaps and bounds over the last century and now features a large concentration of resort skyscrapers. More on the local attractions near the Virgina Beach Oceanfront plus some helpful travel tips and information is all available through the Virginia Beach Convention & Visitors Bureau.
