Volunteering
We are now looking for volunteers to help before and/or during the 2009 Ghent Winter Bar Tour taking place on February 28th. If you are able to volunteer your time to help our cause (and want to have some fun while doing it), then please fill out the volunteer interest form found at the bottom of this page so we know how to contact you. For your time and efforts as a volunteer, you will receive free registration to the event as well as an invitation for you and a guest to the volunteer appreciation party the following weekend. If you are interested in volunteering at the Olde Towne Fall Crawl, please use the volunteer registration form located on that event's website to contact us.
We have broken the planning and execution tasks into three categories and are forming committees to take on each of these. General descriptions of each committee's tasks are given below. Please check them out and let us know on which one(s) you would like to participate.

Sponsorship Committee
Contact local businesses for sponsorship- Secure at least one sponsor and receive FREE registration to the event
- Serve as primary points of contact with sponsor(s)
- Collect sponsor logo(s) and donation(s)
Registration Committee
- Create advertising flyers and handouts
- Organize nights “out on the town” to promote tour
- Submit bar tour information to online event calendars
- Manage registration lists
- Volunteer for 2 hours at the registration booth the day of the event and receive FREE registration
Entertainment Committee
- Organize and run competitions during the event
- Volunteer for one 2-hour shift at a bar during the event and receive FREE registration
- Secure competition supplies
- Coordinate raffle, photography, and other entertainment
